Passengers with special medical needs

 

Medications

Medications, milk, and baby food (as long as the baby is on board the aircraft), as well as special dietary needs are allowed. These products are not required to be placed inside the resealable plastic bag if the amount is reasonable to the passenger’s need and itinerary.

 
 

Oxygen tanks are only allowed in the case of

  • Gaseous oxygen cylinders for medical use, with medical prescription, provided they do not exceed 5 kg. Gross weight.
  • The cylinders employed in the use of mechanical artificial limbs, as well as the spare parts sufficient for the total or expected duration of the flight.
  • Oxygen concentrators certified by the Dirección General de Aeronáutica Civil with a medical prescription.

People with Motor Weaknesses

Wheelchairs, crutches, canes, etc. are allowed. Note: In the case of electric wheelchairs, you must coordinate with the airline you are traveling with.

 
 

Differently abled people

People with disabilities must be accompanied by a family member or guardian.

 
 

People with pacemakers and pregnant women

The radiation emitted by the metal detector arc is less than that of a cell phone, so it does not affect people with pacemakers or pregnant women; however, passengers may choose a manual check.

 
 

People with diabetes

Diabetics may enter with the medicines and syringes necessary for the trip, it is not necessary to show the prescription. It is advisable to carry your diabetic credential.
